Four times a year since 2002, students from the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music travel to the
Hamilton Island resort in Australia. There they experience workshops, student-faculty interactions, and
performances. The resort pays the expenses of the educational and vacation experience, including the costs of
visiting performers and professors. The performances, audience, visiting professionals, professional training,
mentoring, logistics, curriculum, and regional supporters of the event are profiled.
